We have a large basement that smells like sewage or rotten eggs in the morning. I am afraid that it is a health hazard. All the plumbers the landlord talks to have no idea how to fix it.
Should we talk to an engineer?

I want to put my washer and dryer in the outside store – there’s mains water in there but it’s not tapped, there’s no sign of drainage either – any advice on what’s needed?

Our 3 year old daughter is deathly afraid of drains we dont know why or how we have never told her she will be sucked down one or anything like that. But due to her fear of drains potty training so far is going on in the living room which for now I dont mind but we will need her to use the toilet and being so afraid to go because it drains. We have touched the bathtub drain and sink drains in front of her empty, full, and while draining to show her its safe but she screams like she is going to die.

plumber out several times and nothing seems to help. If I am washing out something, or brushing my teeth and leave the water running, the sink fills up. Then it takes probably 15 minutes for it to drain. A friend of mine told me to put hydrogen peroxide in it. This helped somewhat, but in a very short time, it slowed down again. I even put two bottles of peroxide in it one time.

Our condo board is considering allowing us to put in the walk, but one owner says it will add to our drainage (flooding) problems. Walk will replace portions of grass. (We’re in Fla. where ground is quite permeable)Will the drainage be that much worse? Would like to show that the water will permeate the walk almost as well as the grass. Thanks.

The dial will go to the end of the cycle but nothing is going on during the spin portion of the cycle.

How can I build 3 simple and inexpensive drains for my project?

I heard bleach is good. Is there any good enzyme cleaner out there?

please help me…..i need to know if it’s possible to fix it and if so how? I really can’t afford a new one at this time, i would appreciate your help, thanks so much!
