Its coming from a drain right outside my sons bedroom window and frequently fills his room, our bathroom and hall especially at night when we are washing dishes, having showers and so on. The repairguy says the vent is in the wrong place. This is a 7yr old rental house. Apart from the obvious flamability (my son has been able to ignite it,) I am also concerned as the two children who have used that room over the 7yrs have suffered various mentle health conditions and my son is behaving aggressivly. As a family we have all had various health problems since living in this house but kept being told there were no leaks, we were imagining it. Could our health problems be related to the leak? And what should/could we do about it, healthwise and repairwise?

Mechanic disconnected the computer and that stopped the drain on the battery, but every time I turn on the car, I have to reboot the computer system, which is a pain, especially for short trips. Any suggestions?

My house is on a septic system and I routinely use ‘Rid-X’ to keep it maintianed. Don’t think there’s a problem with the tank or leach field.

My problem appears to be with the venting of the system. Everytime a toilet is flushed, or a sink or bathtub is drained, you can hear bubbling from the other sink drains.

Is there a way to locate the problem…..and what to do when I find it?

Hair and grease I’m thinking. Its the bathtub. I moved in a few months ago and its been plugged since then. I’ve tried every kind of drain cleaner, its been taken apart once and cleaned out. It’s been snaked. That worked for a few days then plugged again. I think it was so badly dirty that it keeps plugging up after the big clumps are taken out.

I need to do some work on my 4 underground pool pipes that connect my pool to the equipment. If I lower the water level in the pool so it is lower than the level of the 4 underground 2 PVC pipes, do I eliminate any water problems at the site where I am making my cuts? I am worried about not being able to control the water due to the pressure created by the pool. Should I also put a rubber mat over the main drain in the bottom of the pool?

Tree roots damaged the pipes. We had the pipes snaked and are now left with the left over mess. There is an odor surrounding the house inside out. How do I kill the waste that accumulated from the back-up?
