The knob that you turn to select different cycles is motor driven throughout the washing session. On the back of the knob is a complicated collection of switches and cams. One of the switches is sticking. This causes the draining and filling to happen at the same time. Call a repairman. If you know someone that is good at electrical stuff them have them look at it. No, that’s a bad idea. Have a repairman replace the switch. Should only run about $50-$75.

Hi, Sounds like the drain hose end is too low creating a syphon situation in the 2nd rinse. The hose should only go into the floor drain pipe about 8-10 inches (about 32 from floor). If it goes in too far the syphon created at the end of the 1st drain keeps going into the second one. Good luck.

Make sure your drain hose sits higher than the washer. We had to put a hook on the wall, drape the hose over it and then to the drain on the floor.
