Washer stopped draining during the rinse cycle, and only drains during the final spin. help?
My washer filled up as normal, rotated the clothes, then just made a couple clicks and vibrated where it would have drained, rotated again, never having filled up with the new water since it didn’t drain, and then moved on to the final spin, which i assume just pushed the water out through the drain… what could be wrong and how do i fix it??

When I do laundry, when the washer drains my bathroom sink spits and bathtub drain gurgles and there is a horrible rotten egg smell. I cut back on laundry soap and fab softener and the stinch is still lingering. Have also tried the septic treatments and nothing has worked. Have tried to check the drain vents but doesn’t looked clogged. You can hear the gurgling outside also from the vents. What is going on with my draining system? HELP ME!...
your timer might have gone bad
Unless you know how to work on these things, I would call a local repair shop for a quote on the cost to fix it and based on that think about getting a new one.(or check craigs list or other classifieds for a used one)
have you tried starting a new load to see if the same thing happens?
it may well be the the timer.
if you fill it up and start it and it DOESN’T DRAIN, just let it go to the rinse cycle again and it will empty there, now don’t think i’m being silly but once IT empties on the spin cycle, and refills, stop the cycle and Start it over again at the beginning
using the 16 minutes and let it run it entire course this time without stopping it. my thought is you could do this till you can get the washer fixed.
the washer actually does the same thing over and over again EXCEPT it runs for different periods of time when it’s in the rinse cycle. THINK ABOUT IT.
hopefully it was just a glitch and will right itself. (not likely)
but who knows. i hope you understand what i’m saying.
try it, it should work so long as the washer empties in the rinse cycle.
good luck to ya
let us know how you made out, please
